Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Combing Hair (Kamisuki) by Torii Kotondo was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,816.29). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Torii Kotondo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kamisuki (Combing the hair) in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 72,500.00 (€ 64,570.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Combing Hair (Kamisuki) von Torii Kotondo kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.816,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Torii Kotondo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kamisuki (Combing the hair) im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.500,00 (€ 64.570,72).
