Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Toon Verhoef was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2017. The price achieved of EUR 10,625.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Toon Verhoef - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Untitled, which sold at auction in March 2010 for EUR 30,750.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Toon Verhoef kam im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.625,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Toon Verhoef mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Untitled beobachtet, die im März 2010 für EUR 30.750,00 versteigert wurde.
