Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled - Woman Walking Dog by Tony Wong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,589.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tony Wong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chameleon in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 463,500.00 (€ 40,518.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled - Woman Walking Dog von Tony Wong kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.589,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tony Wong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chameleon im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 463.500,00 (€ 40.518,38).
