Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Asian Art, which included the work Impersonation by Tony Wong. It changed hands for a price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 32,459.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Tony Wong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Chameleon was auctioned for HKD 463,500.00 (€ 40,518.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Impersonation von Tony Wong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 32.459,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tony Wong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit Chameleon für HKD 463.500,00 (€ 40.518,38) versteigert.
