The work Deception by Tony Wong was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,582.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tony Wong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chameleon, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 463,500.00 (€ 40,518.38).

Die Arbeit Deception von Tony Wong wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.582,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tony Wong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chameleon beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 463.500,00 (€ 40.518,38) versteigert wurde.
