The work Birth by Tony Wong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,113.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tony Wong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chameleon, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 463,500.00 (€ 40,518.38).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.113,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tony Wong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chameleon beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 463.500,00 (€ 40.518,38) versteigert wurde.
