Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Black Hole by Tony Oursler. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 21,675.00 (€ 21,245.83). Admittedly, works by Tony Oursler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Passage in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 173,000.00 (€ 126,832.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Black Hole von Tony Oursler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 21.675,00 (€ 21.245,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tony Oursler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Passage im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 126.832,84).
