Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online, which included the work Untitled, 1984 by Tony DeLap. The price achieved of USD 2,432.00 (€ 2,297.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony DeLap achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ozanam, 1989 in September last year with an auction result of USD 57,075.00 (€ 58,341.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, 1984 von Tony DeLap zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.432,00 (€ 2.297,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tony DeLap erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ozanam, 1989 im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 57.075,00 (€ 58.341,00).
