It achieved a price of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 130,629.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tommaso Ruiz; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Veduta del Porto di Napoli con il Ponte Nuovo, l'edificio dell'Immacolatella e la lanterna del Molo sold at auction in December 2001 with the realized price of ITL 208,250,000.00 (€ 187,169.98).
