Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (#10) by Tomma Abts was sold in the First Open Online auction at Christies in London in September 2018. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,846.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomma Abts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiard in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 239,634.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (#10) von Tomma Abts wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion First Open Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.846,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomma Abts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiard im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 239.634,44).
