Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tau by Tom Holland was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2007. The price achieved of USD 2,280.00 (€ 1,662.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tom Holland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pond Series #61, which sold at auction in July 2007 for USD 6,600.00 (€ 4,813.65).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.280,00 (€ 1.662,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tom Holland mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pond Series #61 beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für USD 6.600,00 (€ 4.813,65) versteigert wurde.
