Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2009 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Untitled; And A Companion Work by Tom Holland. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,073.75). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tom Holland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pond Series #61, which sold at auction in July 2007 for USD 6,600.00 (€ 4,813.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2009 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled; And A Companion Work von Tom Holland zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.073,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Tom Holland mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pond Series #61 beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für USD 6.600,00 (€ 4.813,65) versteigert wurde.
