Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2006 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction 20th Century British and Irish Art, which included the work St Allan, Falmouth by Tom Coates. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,655.38), 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by Tom Coates have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,986.07) in June 2007 for the work Street Scene, Florence.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2006 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion 20th Century British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit St Allan, Falmouth von Tom Coates zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.655,38) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Tom Coates haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.986,07) im Juni 2007 für die Arbeit Street Scene, Florence beobachtet.
