Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work #1975-a, 1996 by Todd Hido was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2017. It achieved a price of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,121.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Todd Hido - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Selected Images from House Hunting, which sold at auction in October 2017 for USD 36,250.00 (€ 31,121.22).

Die Arbeit #1975-a, 1996 von Todd Hido kam im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.121,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Todd Hido mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Selected Images from House Hunting beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für USD 36.250,00 (€ 31.121,22) versteigert wurde.
