Auction result well in line with expectations
The work #1951-a, Pacifica, CA, from House Hunting by Todd Hido was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April this year. The price achieved of USD 4,826.00 (€ 4,371.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Todd Hido have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected Images from House Hunting in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 36,250.00 (€ 31,121.22).
