In September 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations, which included the work A Dutch farmhouse by Tinus de Jongh. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,875.00 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tinus de Jongh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work De Voordense Beek: a sunny autumn landscape with birches, which sold at auction in February 2008 for EUR 6,250.00.

Im September 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Dutch farmhouse von Tinus de Jongh zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.875,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Tinus de Jongh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit De Voordense Beek: a sunny autumn landscape with birches beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für EUR 6.250,00 versteigert wurde.
