In the Photographs auction, the work The Daughters (From The Europeans) sold for USD 18,900.00 (€ 15,710.72) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tina Barney; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Jill and Polly in the Bathroom sold at auction in October this year with the realized price of USD 31,750.00 (€ 30,043.53).
