Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude #1120 by Tina Barney was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in February 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,188.00 (€ 1,044.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tina Barney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jill and Polly in the Bathroom in October this year with an auction result of USD 31,750.00 (€ 30,043.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nude #1120 von Tina Barney kam im Februar 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.188,00 (€ 1.044,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tina Barney erzielen.
