The work Russian skier by Timur Novikov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 67,518.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Timur Novikov; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Tank Attack sold at auction in November 2013 with the realized price of GBP 68,500.00 (€ 82,430.58).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 67.518,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Timur Novikov; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Tank Attack im November 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 68.500,00 (€ 82.430,58).
