Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction The Robert Devereux Collection of Post-War British Art in aid of the African Arts Trust, Sale 3, which included the work Reunion (I) by Tim Stoner. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 750.00 (€ 896.25). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tim Stoner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eternity in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,694.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Robert Devereux Collection of Post-War British Art in aid of the African Arts Trust, Sale 3 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reunion (I) von Tim Stoner zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 750,00 (€ 896,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tim Stoner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eternity im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.694,97).
