In September 2017 Christies in London held the auction on paper | online, which included the work (i) Red Moroccans (ii) Duo (iii) Swing (iv) Folk II by Tim Stoner. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,701.77) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tim Stoner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eternity in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,694.97).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion on paper | online durch, in der auch die Arbeit (i) Red Moroccans (ii) Duo (iii) Swing (iv) Folk II von Tim Stoner zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.701,77) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tim Stoner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eternity im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.694,97).
