The work Mondrian (blau/weiß) by Tim Eitel was worth GBP 120,000.00 (€ 176,963.73) to a buyer in October 2005. This price was achieved in the auction LONDON CONTEMPORARY at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tim Eitel; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Schwarzer Sand sold at auction in November 2006 with the realized price of USD 284,800.00 (€ 214,765.10).
