Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aint Wastin' Time No More by Tim Bavington was sold in the This is Tomorrow: Works from the David Ross Collection auction at Sothebys in London in September 2021. The price achieved of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,691.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tim Bavington - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wayward #1, which sold at auction in March 2012 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,311.98).

Die Arbeit Aint Wastin' Time No More von Tim Bavington wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion This is Tomorrow: Works from the David Ross Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.691,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tim Bavington mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wayward #1 beobachtet, die im März 2012 für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.311,98) versteigert wurde.
