Auction result fails to reach estimate
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work View from a lakeside surrounded by trees by Thorvald Niss for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 268.14). This price was achieved in the auction {} at Bruun Rasmussen in Paintings, furniture and varia and was even lower than the DKK 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thorvald Niss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seascape with fishing boats in the evening sun in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 6,500.00 (€ 5,680.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit View from a lakeside surrounded by trees von Thorvald Niss für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 268,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion {} bei Bruun Rasmussen in Paintings, furniture and varia erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thorvald Niss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seascape with fishing boats in the evening sun im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 6.500,00 (€ 5.680,83).
