Estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work Forrest view with two women collecting firewood by Thorvald Niss. Here, the estimate of DKK 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 4,200.00 (€ 563.85). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thorvald Niss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seascape with fishing boats in the evening sun in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 6,500.00 (€ 5,680.83).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Forrest view with two women collecting firewood von Thorvald Niss zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 4.200,00 (€ 563,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thorvald Niss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seascape with fishing boats in the evening sun im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 6.500,00 (€ 5.680,83).
