Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Italianate Landscape With Figures Beside A Well Before A Villa by Thomas Wyck was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in April 2007. The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,027.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Wyck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of the Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo, Venice in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 108,100.00 (€ 136,348.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit An Italianate Landscape With Figures Beside A Well Before A Villa von Thomas Wyck kam im April 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.027,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Wyck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View of the Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo, Venice im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 108.100,00 (€ 136.348,09).
