Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Thomas William Hammond could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Sunday Sale : The Langford Hall Collection, Nottinghamshire - Property of the late Mr & Mrs Patrick Radford auction, the work The Windmill, Sneinton; and Cheapside, Nottingham changed hands for GBP 187.50 (€ 238.22) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas William Hammond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The White Hart Inn; The Back of the White Hart Inn; Park Steps and Street Scene, Nottingham in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,382.21).
