A top price for Thomas Reynolds Lamont - as previously expected
The work The Bell Ringers by Thomas Reynolds Lamont was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 15,948.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Bell Ringers is the most expensive artwork by Thomas Reynolds Lamont that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit The Bell Ringers von Thomas Reynolds Lamont kam im Juli 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 15.948,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
