A top price for Thomas McEwan - as previously expected
The work In Time O'War by Thomas McEwan was sold in the Scottish and Sporting Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in August 2007. The price achieved of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,740.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, In Time O'War is the most expensive artwork by Thomas McEwan that we have observed at auctions so far.
