Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,560.00 (€ 2,939.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Luny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Battle Of Copenhagen, 2Nd April 1801 in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 108,100.00 (€ 130,083.88).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.560,00 (€ 2.939,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
