It achieved a price of USD 88,900.00 (€ 83,994.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Houseago - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quake mask, which sold at auction in June 2019 for EUR 225,000.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 88.900,00 (€ 83.994,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Houseago mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quake mask beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für EUR 225.000,00 versteigert wurde.
