Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Taihu Stone by Thomas H. C. Tan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 212,500.00 (€ 21,154.89), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Thomas H. C. Tan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 34,877.43) in April 2014 for the work Beyond The Hedge; Autumn Meditation (Diptych).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Taihu Stone von Thomas H. C. Tan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 21.154,89) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Thomas H. C. Tan haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 34.877,43) im April 2014 für die Arbeit Beyond The Hedge; Autumn Meditation (Diptych) beobachtet.
