In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Beyond The Hedge; Autumn Meditation (Diptych) by Thomas H. C. Tan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 375,000.00 (€ 34,877.43), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, Beyond The Hedge; Autumn Meditation (Diptych) is even the most expensive work of art by Thomas H. C. Tan that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beyond The Hedge; Autumn Meditation (Diptych) von Thomas H. C. Tan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 34.877,43) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Beyond The Hedge; Autumn Meditation (Diptych) sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Thomas H. C. Tan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
