Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 504.00 (€ 753.02). Admittedly, works by Thomas Goldsworth Dutton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The English barque Spirit of the Age in May 2010 with an auction result of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,222.01).
