Admittedly, works by Thomas Frye have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Gentleman; And Portrait Of A Lady in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 49,772.29).
