Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2021 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Thomas Fougeirol for GBP 882.00 (€ 1,034.33). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Thomas Fougeirol have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2021 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Thomas Fougeirol für GBP 882,00 (€ 1.034,33) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Fougeirol auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
