Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The young housewife by Thomas Faed was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,031.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Faed achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Worn Out in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 259,650.00 (€ 379,080.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The young housewife von Thomas Faed kam im März 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.031,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Faed erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Worn Out im Februar 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 259.650,00 (€ 379.080,81).
