Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bakewell, Derbyshire by Thomas Creswick was sold in the BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in London in September 2001. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,311.95). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Creswick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The London Road A Hundred Years Ago in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 38,240.00 (€ 56,912.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bakewell, Derbyshire von Thomas Creswick wurde im September 2001 in der Auktion BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.311,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Creswick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The London Road A Hundred Years Ago im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.240,00 (€ 56.912,57).
