It achieved a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,576.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Bush Hardy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Margate Harbor, which sold at auction in July 2002 for USD 28,680.00 (€ 29,277.26).

Die Arbeit Bragozzi off the Giardini Pubblici, Venice von Thomas Bush Hardy kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.576,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Bush Hardy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Margate Harbor beobachtet, die im Juli 2002 für USD 28.680,00 (€ 29.277,26) versteigert wurde.
