Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Entrance to the Hamoaze, Plymouth' by Thomas Bush Hardy was sold in the The Marine Sale auction at Bonhams in London in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,322.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Bush Hardy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Margate Harbor in July 2002 with an auction result of USD 28,680.00 (€ 29,277.26).
