Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fishermen on the lagoon, Venice by Thomas Bush Hardy was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,510.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Bush Hardy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Margate Harbor in July 2002 with an auction result of USD 28,680.00 (€ 29,277.26).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.510,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
