A top price for Thomas Bromley Blacklock - as previously expected
In August 2006 Sothebys in London held the auction Gleneagles Pictures, which included the work Her First Catch by Thomas Bromley Blacklock. The price achieved of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,982.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Her First Catch is the most expensive artwork by Thomas Bromley Blacklock that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im August 2006 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Gleneagles Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Her First Catch von Thomas Bromley Blacklock zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.982,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Her First Catch das teuerste Kunstwerk von Thomas Bromley Blacklock, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
