Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work A Woodland Princess by Thomas Bromley Blacklock for GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,710.32). This price was achieved in the auction Gleneagles Pictures at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Thomas Bromley Blacklock have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Her First Catch in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,982.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Woodland Princess von Thomas Bromley Blacklock für GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.710,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Gleneagles Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Bromley Blacklock auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Her First Catch im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.982,66).
