Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work In The Woods by Thomas Bromley Blacklock. The price achieved of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,063.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Bromley Blacklock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Her First Catch in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,982.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Scottish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit In The Woods von Thomas Bromley Blacklock zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.063,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Bromley Blacklock erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Her First Catch im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.982,66).
