The auction ended at the price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,711.33), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Blinks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Waiting For The Guns in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 564,000.00 (€ 417,159.76).

Die Arbeit Setters von Thomas Blinks kam im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.711,33) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Blinks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Waiting For The Guns im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 564.000,00 (€ 417.159,76).
