Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Thomas Barker could be acquired at Christies in New York in April 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Masters Part II auction, the work Cowherds With Cattle On A Dirt Road changed hands for USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,987.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Barker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Roman Capriccio With Figures, The Colosseum Beyond in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 23,300.00 (€ 29,704.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Barker konnte im April 2021 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
