Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Thilo Maatsch was auctioned at VAN HAM in Cologne in July 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 323.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thilo Maatsch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sonnen-Zeichen vor Blau (recto); Gebirgslandschaft (verso) in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 17,380.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Thilo Maatsch kam im Juli 2020 bei VAN HAM in Köln zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 323,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thilo Maatsch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sonnen-Zeichen vor Blau (recto); Gebirgslandschaft (verso) im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 17.380,46).
