Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Winter by Theude Grönland for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,189.94). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Theude Grönland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poppies, Tulips And Roses In A Vase By Strawberries And Grapes On A Wooden Shelf, which sold at auction in January 2013 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,483.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Winter von Theude Grönland für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.189,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Theude Grönland mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poppies, Tulips And Roses In A Vase By Strawberries And Grapes On A Wooden Shelf beobachtet, die im Januar 2013 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.483,95) versteigert wurde.
