Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Theude Grönland could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master and 19th Century European Art auction, the work Grapes On A Vine changed hands for USD 5,625.00 (€ 3,790.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Theude Grönland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poppies, Tulips And Roses In A Vase By Strawberries And Grapes On A Wooden Shelf, which sold at auction in January 2013 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,483.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Theude Grönland konnte im Januar 2008 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit Grapes On A Vine für USD 5.625,00 (€ 3.790,18) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Theude Grönland mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poppies, Tulips And Roses In A Vase By Strawberries And Grapes On A Wooden Shelf beobachtet, die im Januar 2013 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.483,95) versteigert wurde.
