In May last year VAN HAM held the auction Fine Art, which included the work Herbstlandschaft. by Théodore Rousseau. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,900.00 65% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théodore Rousseau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le chêne de roche in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 468,500.00 (€ 413,430.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 65 % übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte VAN HAM die Auktion Fine Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Herbstlandschaft. von Théodore Rousseau zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.900,00 und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Théodore Rousseau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le chêne de roche im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 468.500,00 (€ 413.430,99).
